Antiparticle of exciton in semimetals

چکیده
An emergent quantized field enriches quantum many-body systems. We propose an antiparticle analog of the exciton in semimetals as collective mode interacting electron show that interband excitations are generally comprised both excitons and antiparticles excitons. These two stand for distinct modes semimetals, having different energies opposite conserved charges. The charge here is a quantity conjugate to joint U(1) symmetry electrons' bands associated with excitations. charges foster fertile scattering processes among modes. In spin-polarized systems, they also suggest possible experimental detections antiparticles. clarify effective theory given by generalized Klein-Gordon theory. Our provides comprehensive understanding excitonic spectra generic bringing broader insight into electronic phenomena solids.
